John Franklin Gregg

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Franklin Gregg in Ponte Vedra, Florida, who passed away on March 4, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gregg and Dorothea Gregg; and his granddaughter Valerie. He is survived by: his wife Andrea; his brothers, Robert "Bob" Gregg (Sue) and Richard "Rick" Gregg (Lisa); his children, Nancy, Alicia (John), Jay (Charlotte), J. J. (Trish) and Robert (April); his grandchildren, Jessica, Johnny, Kain, Brittany, Garrett, Christopher, Pashence, Rachael, Tara, Madeline and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Amara, Fletcher, Alec, Jace and Memphis; Karyl Hobbs.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (400 San Juan Dr, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's name to Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra or the Anne & Donald McGraw Center for Caring of Community Hospice in Jacksonville.
