He was predeceased by: his parents, John Styer and Martha Styer (Doelle); his son Scott Jonathan; and his siblings, Ed, Sam and Sylvia.

He is survived by: his children, Wendy Parsons (Phil) of Springfield, Missouri and Joe (Jennifer) of Prairie Farm; his granddaughters, Makayla (Collin Christenson), Madyson Styer, Arwen and Amber Parsons; and his siblings, Don of Chetek, Louie (Colleen) of Colfax, Ken (Mary Ellen) of Weyerhaeuser, Dale (Debby) of Birchwood and Patty Hanson of Princeton, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rausch and Steel Funeral Home (19 S 3rd St, Barron, WI 54812). A prayer will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
