John Peterman ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Kepner Funeral Home - Burke Chapel on Mar. 17, 2026.John Eli Veydt Peterman, 91, of Wheeling, WV passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Liza's Place.He was born June 10, 1934 in Wheeling, son of the late Clarence and Violet (Veydt) Peterman.John was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the UMWA, and enjoyed watching all of his grandkids play sports.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Peterman; his son, J.C. Peterman; and his son-in-law, Chris Moczydlowski.John is survived by his wife, Delores Peterman; his children, Christina (Todd) Gallupe, Sherri Moczydlowski, Robert Peterman; his grandchildren, Michael (Summer), Joey (Ashley), Brian (Harlie), Taylor (Robert), Tara (Erik), Eric (Lacey), Brooke, Paige, Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Logan, Emily, Josh, Haylie.Friends will be received on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 9am until the time of service at 1pm, at Kepner Funeral Home-Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave. Wheeling (304-277-2722).
