Pass Christian, MS

John Edward Storey, Jr., affectionately known as "Little Eddie," was born on November 10, 1959, in Pass Christian, Mississippi. He peacefully departed this life on March 6, 2026, in the same cherished hometown that cradled his spirit throughout his journey.

For 32 years, Eddie dedicated his talents and hard work at Gulf Coast Prestress, where he built a reputation as a diligent and devoted employee. Beyond his career, Eddie was a family man at heart, reveling in the joy of spending time with those he loved. His warmth and kindness touched everyone who crossed his path; he truly never met a stranger. With a heart of gold, Eddie would go out of his way to help anyone in need, embodying compassion and generosity in every interaction.

Eddie embraced a variety of passions that brought him joy. He found peace in nature while fishing, relished the excitement of the racetrack, and often enjoyed the thrill of the casinos. His creative spirit shone through in his love of woodworking, where he crafted treasures that reflected his meticulous attention to detail.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Monique Storey, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond that many aspire to emulate. Described as his soul mate, Monique was not just a partner but a pillar of strength and love in Eddie's life. He is also survived by his sister, Alice, and lifelong family friend, Becky Hornke, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry forward the memories of their time with him.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, John Edwards Storey, Sr. and Hilda Labigang Storey, as well as numerous siblings and his cherished fur-baby, Coco. Their memories live on through the many lives he touched and the lessons of love and kindness he imparted.

In every laugh shared, every hand lent, and every memory made, Little Eddie leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of those he held dear.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Storey Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers in the days to come.
