John E. Heavisides of Rochester, New Hampshire, passed away on March 14, 2026.
He was predeceased by his parents, John G. L. and Erma Heavisides (Nichols); his wife, Theresa Carter of Lebanon, New Hampshire; and his siblings, Eloise Brantley, Stephen, and Richard.
He is survived by his children, Karen Perkins (Don) of Dunbarton, New Hampshire, Katherine Plunkett (Tom) of Voluntown, Connecticut, John “Jay” Heavisides (Celia) of Goffstown, New Hampshire, and Janet Drake (Collin) of Hartland, Vermont; his siblings, Shirley Clifford of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Douglas (Carol); and his sister-in-law, Sandy Heavisides (Carole Hamilton) of Claremont, New Hampshire. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
John, affectionately known as Jack, will be remembered for the love and devotion he showed his large, close-knit family throughout his life.
