Born in Dorton, Kentucky, on January 26, 1943, he was the son of John D and Betty Jane Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers James, Danny, Ben and Henry.He leaves behind his wife of 37 years Deborah, his son James with his wife Beverly of Fort Pierce. His daughters Elaina Polprasert with her husband Pichai of Ashville, NC, his daughter Jolliann Gryczan with her husband Walt of Wilson, NC, his daughter Hilary and her husband Jeramy of Memphis, Tennessee. In addition, his stepdaughter Stacie, six grandchildren Joshua, Brad, Elizabeth, Breanna, Alyssa, and Chris, and seven great grandchildren. He was very close to his granddaughter Alyssa and his grandson Chris who both live here in Florida.He is also survived by his sister Minnie Crumit of Defiance Ohio, his brother Troy Stewart of Defiance, Ohio, his brother Tom Stewart and sister Easter Hartley-Frye of Port St. Lucie, Florida.Prior to moving to Florida he resided in Defiance, Ohio where he worked at SK Wayne Tools. John was a licensed painter and enjoyed painting many homes in the Treasure Coast area.A celebration of life will be held at a later date.Legacy.com reports daily on death announcements in local communities nationwide.
