With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Contarino (Warwick, Rhode Island), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on March 7, 2026 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Contarino and Virginia Contarino (Stramando); and his brother Joseph Contarino. He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Contarino (Albanese); his daughters, Joanna Contarino of Phoenix and Nicole Santagata of Warwick, RI; his grandchildren, Shawn, Isabella Loiselle and Alfonso Paolantonio, Jr.; his great grandchild Willow Marie Whatley; and his sibling's children, Joey Contarino and Nicole Caouette.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home (1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Kevin Church (333 Sandy Ln, Warwick, RI 02889). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
