John "Gunga" Condor

John “Gunga” Condor, Jr., 87, of Clarksburg, passed away on March 13, 2026, at AHN – Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

Born on May 31, 1938, in Iselin, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Cavalier) Condor. A graduate of Elders Ridge High School, John served in the United States Army before working for Federal Laboratories and the United Mine Workers of America. He remained an active member of the Saltsburg American Legion, Post #57, and the Slickville American Legion, Post #18.

John found great joy in fishing, golfing, and sharing quiet days with his longtime companion, Donna. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida (Zuchelli) Condor.

He is survived by his brother, Eugene L. Condor of Clarksburg; his niece, Santina M. Condor of Clarksburg; his companion of 17 years, Donna S. (Binaut) Mason of Climer, Pennsylvania; and many other loving family members and friends.
