John Charles O’Connor of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on March 17, 2026 at the age of 83. He was a man whose quiet presence and steadfast character left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael O’Connor and Rose O’Connor, and his brother Daniel O’Connor. He is survived by his siblings, Mary, Fred Weston, Michael O’Connor, Patrick O’Connor, and Roseanne Lynch, as well as his godson Anthony DuBois and his wife Danielle. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who held him in special regard.
