John Bickford Eshleman

John Bickford Eshleman, 67, of Denver, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret (Reid) Eshleman. He shared 10 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Allison Lea (Rogers) Eshleman.

A graduate of Manheim Township High School who attended Millersville University, John served as a USPS mail carrier for 31 years before retiring in 2019. He cherished the outdoors, spending many hours hiking, running 5Ks, and playing golf as a former member of Host Farm Golf Club. Music held a special place in his life; he played guitar and was an active member of the praise band at Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church. An avid Eagles fan and devoted follower of Philadelphia sports, John had a genuine love for people. Thoughtful, kind, outgoing, and friendly, he made everyone around him feel genuinely welcome and cared for.

He is survived by his wife Allison; three brothers, Steve, Robert, and Richard Eshleman; three stepchildren, Brandon Fake (Jessie), Madilyn Yuengel (Dane), and Christian Fake; six grandchildren, Bryn, Laney, Trey, Remy, Sawyer, and Austen; brothers-in-law Drew Rogers (Tonya), Dean Rogers (Sharon), and Doug Rogers (Beth); sister-in-law Audrey Rogers; and mother-in-law Norma Jean Rogers.
