He was born May 17, 1958 in Port Clinton, OH to the late John A. and Adeline (Homier) Wozniak. John attended Immaculate Conception and was an altar boy while enrolled. He was a 1976 graduate of Port Clinton High School. On June 20, 1987 he married the love of his life Deborah Homler, and she Survives. John owned and operated Wozniak Drywall where he retired in 2020. He was a member of the Port Clinton Eagles and V.F.W. John enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids and going for ice cream and looking for deer with his wife.Survivors include his wife Debbie; daughters: Kellee (Matt) Capodice and Johnette (James) Head, all of Port Clinton, OH; grandchildren; Autumn and Piper Capodice, Johnathan, Jordyn, and Josie Head; brother Ralph Knodel and sister Connie Perini. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Teresa (Wozniak) Whiting and Kathleen "Kitty" (Knodel) Rollheiser.Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 4 – 8pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton Chapel, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, OH 43452. Cremation will then take place. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or American Cancer Society.
