John Ray Baker, 62, of Livingston, Texas, was born on April 28, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, to Bryant Oran Baker and Mary Lou Hartley Baker. He passed away on March 14, 2026, in Livingston. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Becky Baker.
John found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing on Lake Livingston and attending dirt truck races. Above all, he cherished his family and took deep pride in his grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, John Baker Jr. of Livingston, Texas, and Gregory Baker and Noel of San Antonio, Texas; his daughter, Rachel Rodriguez of Livingston, Texas; grandsons Brantley Baker, Emmitt Baker, and Ethan Rodriguez of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter Raylin Rodriguez of Livingston, Texas; grandsons Ayden Baker, Lucas Baker, Wyatt Baker, and Eric Baker of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughters Lara Baker of San Antonio, Texas, and Jaycee Clark of Conroe, Texas; grandson Gage Clark of Conroe, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law Vicki Bishop and David of Willis, Texas, Cheryl Baker of Conroe, Texas, and Jennifer Hause and Eric of Conroe, Texas; son-in-law Scott Rodriguez; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
