John A. "Jack" Eaton

John “Jack” A. Eaton, 80, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away on March 15, 2026. Born on October 10, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Lyle and Mildred (Chaney) Eaton. A 1964 graduate of Bedford High School, Jack married Linda Rank on August 26, 1965. The couple shared 57 years of marriage until her death on October 25, 2022.

Jack worked for the Dana Corporation for 30 years before retiring and joining the staff of Bedford Public Schools, where he also coached high school baseball for three decades. He cherished time with his family above all else and found great joy in traveling, sports, and the outdoors.

He is survived by his children, John (Beth) Eaton, Jaclyn (Doug) Harrison, and Jason Eaton; his grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Brady, Carter, Kate, and McKenna; his brother, Randy (Cindy) Eaton; and his sister, Debbie Rimer. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Kenny, Charlene, Gary, Ronnie, and Karen.
