Joelle C. Fuhrman, 86-year-old resident of Pierz, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by her family as they prayed the rosary as she so often did. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN with Father Kenneth Popp officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery in Pierz, MN. Parish prayers will be held at 3:30 P.M., followed by a visitation from 4-8 P.M. on Monday, March 16, 2026, and from 9:00-10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, all at LeMieur Funeral Home in Pierz, MN. A Christian Women's and Hearts of Faith rosary will be prayed at 10:30 A.M on Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. Caring for Joelle and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Pierz, MN.Joelle Storkamp was born on March 24, 1939, in St. Cloud, MN, to the late Paul and Rosalyn (Diedrich) Storkamp. She married Chuck Fuhrman on September 27, 1958, at St. Joseph's Church in Pierz. In 1963, Chuck and Joelle began what would become a lifelong chapter of hard work and community connection when they opened Chuck's TV, a business they proudly owned and operated for over 40 years. Together, they raised five children-Dale, Mary, Greg, Mark, and Jeff. Their home grew even more full of love when Joelle's mother passed away, and they welcomed Joelle's three younger siblings-Chuck, Jackie, and Paula-into their family. Their household was always open, supportive, and filled with the energy of a bustling, close-knit family. Chuck and Joelle enjoyed taking trips with family and friends, creating many lifelong memories along the way. Joelle also had a special love for planting flowers, and her beautifully tended gardens became a familiar sight in the community-many people would stop just to admire them. Joelle enjoyed being part of the St. Joseph's Choir, where she had been a devoted member since its inception in 1974. She was also an active member of the Christian Women and Hearts of Faith, organizations in which she cherished many deep and lasting friendships. Joelle's legacy is one of quiet strength and love. Her family and friends will remember her as a steady source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional support, grounded in a faith that guided her with grace throughout her life.Joelle is survived by her children, Dale (Connie) Fuhrman, Mary (Morris) Young, Greg (Betsy) Fuhrman, Mark (Debbie) Fuhrman, and Jeff (DeAnna) Fuhrman; siblings, Roger (Laurie) Storkamp, Chuck (Karla) Storkamp, Jackie (Tom) Preimesberger, and Paula (Dean) Welle; 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; her parents, Paul and Rosalyn Storkamp; brothers, Glen and Jerry Storkamp; and sister, Kathy Block.
