He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Veda Deaton; two brothers, Lee and Rex Deaton. Mr. Deaton is survived by his wife of sixty years, Genie Deaton. Mr. Deaton was born in Longview, TX on September 19, 1935 and was the owner of J.D.'s Custom Fiberglass in Buford for forty-five years. He served his country in the United States Army and was a former member of GWRRA. Mr. Deaton enjoyed riding motorcycles and making knives. He was a devoted husband and friend who will by missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
