A proud member of Local UA 208, he dedicated his career to his work as a journeyman pipefitter. As a master welder, Joe possessed the rare ability to bend metal to his will, creating enduring treasures that served as a testament to his artistry and technical brilliance.Beyond his professional life, Joe was a man of eclectic passions. He was an avid collector with a keen eye for the unique, finding joy in his vast assembly of VHS tapes and a meticulously curated collection of miniature antique cars and trucks. Those who knew him well will fondly remember his spirit at the karaoke microphone, where he frequently paid tribute to the "Man in Black," Johnny Cash, with a voice full of heart.His legacy of strength and independence lives on through his family. He is survived by his four children: Jolene Luetkemeyer of Warrenton, MO; Barry Byers of Oscoda, MI; Colene Byers of Neosho, MO; and Garry Byers of Littleton, CO. He also leaves behind a lasting lineage of eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.In honor of Joe's patriotic spirit, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O.
