Joe Barber Dorroh

Joe Barber Dorroh, age 66, of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on October 11, 1959, to Edgar Joe Dorroh and Barbara Roberts, Joe lived a life centered on the love he shared with family and friends.

He worked as a wind technician, bringing to his profession a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication. Joe cherished time spent with his family and friends, particularly enjoying fishing and hunting outings. Known for his entertaining storytelling that often ended in shared laughter, he approached every challenge with determination. His skilled craftsmanship, woodworking talent, and remarkable problem-solving abilities earned him widespread respect.

Joe was a familiar and welcome presence in his community, often found relaxing on his front porch swing at the “Hog Light Lounge,” sharing a glass of whiskey and conversation with friends and neighbors.

Preceded in death by his father, Edgar Joe Dorroh, and his brother, Jack Edward Dorroh, Joe is survived by his children Jacob Dorroh, Riley Dorroh, and Macy Dorroh Christiansen; his mother, Barbara Roberts; his sister, Beverly (Jim) Hatch; his grandchildren Penelope Williams, Anakin Williams, and Levi Dorroh; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends and extended family members.
