She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford W. Sharps and Leona M Sharps; her son Ben Boone; her sister Jill Thompson; her brother-in-law Rocke Thompson; her niece Ashley Thompson; and her granddaughter Ari Boone.

She is survived by: her husband James A. Boone; her daughter Jessica M. Dunbar (David) of Marietta; her grandchildren, Logan Dunbar, Lakin Dunbar, Auston Boone and Abel Boone; and her niece Amanda Delano of Parkersburg.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lambert-Tatman Vienna (3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV 26105). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
