Jobie Shepherd, age 85, of Paintsville, Kentucky, formerly of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Mountain Manor of Paintsville. Born on April 15, 1940, in Floyd County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Tony Shepherd and Bertha Marsillett Shepherd.
He is survived by his sisters, Loretta Newsome and Viola Moore, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many dear family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Robie Shepherd, Homer Shepherd, Oma Shepherd, and Louise Moore.
Jobie will be remembered fondly and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
