Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joaquin Alberto Lara (Pensacola, Florida), who passed away at the age of 67, on March 4, 2026. He is survived by: his wife Chanel; his daughters, Gabby and Bella (Bella); his grandson Wyatt; his mother Guadalupe Lara; and his siblings, Richard (Lena), Eddie Lara, Diocelina Da Silva (Nick) and Elizabeth Mobeius (Mark). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The military honors will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pensacola Nas Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. John Episcopal Church (401 Live Oak Ave, Pensacola, FL 32507). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
