Joanne Watts

Joanne Rush Watts, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 27, 2026, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Born on July 26, 1951, in Washington, Pennsylvania, she was 74 years old at the time of her passing.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Franklin D. Watts, Jr., and their two children, Franklin D. Watts II and his wife Doddie Ann, and Christa Lu Watts. Joanne was a proud grandmother to Jake, Jaren, Steven, Brandon, Cynthia, and Laura, and she deeply adored her many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rhonda Hinz, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.

Throughout her life, Joanne found great joy in arts and crafts, creating a warm and loving home for her family as a devoted homemaker. She took special pleasure in gardening and caring for her chickens and cats, and she was a longtime, beloved member of Bible Baptist Church in Clarksville, where she formed lasting friendships and faithfully served in countless ways.

Joanne’s legacy is defined by her love for her family, her commitment to her faith, and her passion for the simple joys in life. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
