It is with profound respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of JoAnne Walker Seamons, March 11, 2026, in Layton, Utah. Born on March 30, 1941, to Richard Paul Walker Sr. and Myrtle Walker.

JoAnne was born and raised in a warm and nurturing environment, spending time in Park City, Clearfield, and Layton, Utah. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, through which she found strength and comfort throughout her life. On February 11, 1960, JoAnne married Larry Jay Seamons, a union later solemnized and sealed in the Bountiful Temple, signifying their eternal commitment to one another.

Her days were filled with the quiet joys of crochet and cross-stitch, crafts that reflected her patience, creativity, and gentle spirit. More than anything, JoAnne treasured the precious moments spent with her family and grandchildren, whose lives she enriched immeasurably with her kindness and wisdom.

JoAnne is lovingly remembered by her surviving children, Debbie Davis and her husband Nick, Laurie Seamons, Paula Enderton and her husband Robert, Larry Seamons and his wife Carrie. Her loving family continues with nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, who carry forward her spirit and warmth.

JoAnne lived a life rich in love, faith, and devotion, leaving behind a legacy that will be treasured by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry Jay Seamons, her parents Richard Paul Walker and Myrtle Walker, her siblings Richard Paul Walker Jr., James Harvey Walker, and Irene Putman, as well as her granddaughter Tanya Marie Neilsen.

Funeral Services will be held March 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family Wednesday March 18, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

JoAnne Walker Seamons lived a life marked by grace, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to family and faith. Her legacy is one of gentle strength and enduring love, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Interment will be held at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton.
