Joanne Klein ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Westgor Funeral Home - Menasha on Mar. 11, 2026.Joanne Sadie Klein (nee Bahr) beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away after a brief illness on March 11th, 2026, surrounded by family. She was born on June 7, 1939 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to Ewald and Sadie Bahr. She attended Oshkosh High School.Joanne spent 30 years as a massage therapist at the Appleton YMCA where she built a loyal clientele in the women's fitness center.Joanne married the love of her life, Robert Klein, on November 26, 1960. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two sons, Bart and Matthew, two daughters, Jennifer and Sarah, sons-in-law Frank and Dan, and five cherished grandchildren, Victor, Nicholas, Jacob, Lorelei and Vincent. Their family shared countless hours together, creating treasured traditions and amazing memories that will be carried in their hearts forever.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, Ewald and Sadie Bahr; her brothers Donald, Richard, Douglas, James and Robert and her sisters Patricia and Janet.Joanne is survived by her children, sons-in-law and grandchildren, as well as her sisters Betty and Joyce, and numerous nieces and nephews.A private burial service for Joanne will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2026, at St. John's Cemetery in Menasha.
