Joanne M. Francis, 84, of Hanna, IN, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at her home with family by her side.She was born on October 28, 1941, in Hanna, IN, to Harold B. and Ethel M. (Inman) Myers.Joanne is survived by her 3 children, Wesley (Nora) Francis of Williamsburg, VA, Murrell "JR" (Leslie) Francis, Jr. of La Porte, and Shannon (Eric) Martin of La Porte; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Michael) Ungerank of La Porte, Sage Francis of Elkhart, Caroline (Eric Ingram) Francis of Valparaiso, Wesley W. Francis of TX, and Aabee (Zack Novak) Martin of La Porte; great-grandchildren, Nayvi Ungerank, and Lincoln and Theo Ingram; sisters, Charlotte Noble of Hanna and Jenny Myers of Hanna; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kenneth, Richard, and Donald Myers.Joanne was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and playing board games. She was a fan of the Chicago Bulls. Joanne took great pride in obtaining her GED in 2000, but even greater pride in her family, whom she dearly loved.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Denny Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Hanna Cemetery.A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38106-9959.Condolences may be shared with the family on www.cutlercares.com.
