Joanne Leslie Parke

Joanne Leslie Parke, age 72, of Billerica, formerly of Acton, died on March 7, 2026 at CareOne in Lexington following a brief illness. Born on November 19, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Johanna (Aho) Parke. Joanne grew up in Acton with her parents and three siblings and graduated from Acton-Boxborough High School.

Throughout her career in the travel industry, Joanne helped countless clients discover the beauty of the world. Her work allowed her to travel extensively, creating many memorable trips with family. She will be remembered as a kind and generous person with a good heart who cared deeply for her family. Joanne was a devoted caregiver to her mother in the final years of her life and was a lifelong baseball fan who enjoyed cheering on the Red Sox.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Huey and her husband Alfred, along with several nieces and nephews. Joanne was predeceased by her sister, Jean Clegg, and her brother, Robert Parke.
