She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene W. Smith; her parents, Joseph W. Gardner and Anne Gardner; and her siblings, Nancylee Casola (late Dennis) and Wayne Gardner (Judy).

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Dobrolinsky (Keith), Julie White and Teri O'Sullivan (Patrick); her grandchildren, Lauren (Tyler), Megan, Nathan (Katarina), Erin, Molly and Kerry; and her great grandchildren, Mason and Brayden.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Michael Church (14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462).
