Joanna Graves

Joanna Graves, born Joanna Gann on August 20, 1935 in Bloodland, Missouri to Samuel and Jessie Gann, passed away on March 7, 2026 in Eureka, Missouri at the age of 90.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Graves; her son, Jeffrey Graves; her daughter-in-law, Cathy Graves; and her siblings, Dale Gann, Emily Ruth Gann, Orville Gann, Virginia Burley, Connie Gann, Hazel Thompson, and Walter Gann.

Joanna is survived by her son, Jerry Graves and his wife Rhonda Greenhill; her grandchildren, Kristen Marquardt and Shannon Grobelny and her husband Alex; her great-grandchildren, Mason Marquardt, Madelyn Marquardt, Rachael Grobelny, and Brooklyn Grobelny; and many other extended family members and friends.

She cherished the life she shared with her husband, especially the memories they created together as members of the Memories Car Club. Joanna loved her family and friends deeply. She had a keen eye for discovering hidden treasures while antiquing and at yard sales, but above all she will be remembered as an incredible cook whose warm meals brought people together and made everyone feel at home.
