Born in Bowling Green, Florida, she was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from State Farm Insurance in Winter Haven after many years of service as an underwriter. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend she will be dearly missed. Joanne was proceeded in death by her husband, Ernest Monroe Sheffield and one son Thomas Monroe Sheffield. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Gail Heath, her husband Michael and daughter-in-law, Candace Sheffield. Five grandchildren, Daniel Burns, Sarah Davis, Tiffany McNally, Corey Sheffield, Aaron Sheffield, and twelve great grandchildren.
