Joan V. Delehanty

Joan V. Delehanty of Albany, New York, born in Niskayuna, New York, passed away on March 15, 2026.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Delehanty, and her parents, Theresa Urgento and Chester Jones. Joan is survived by her daughter, Kim Gibson, her son-in-law, Brent, her grandson, Luke, all of Albany, and her siblings, Jean Allen and her husband George of Sand Lake, James Jones and his wife Diane of Liberty, South Carolina, and John Jones and his wife Susanna of New Boston, New Hampshire. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A lifelong resident of the Capital Region, Joan lived with quiet strength and deep devotion to her family. Those who knew her will remember the steady love and care she gave to her husband, children, and grandchildren, as well as the gentle presence she offered to her siblings and extended family throughout her life.
