Joan T. Daley
Hartland, WI
Joan T. Daley, age 96, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. Born on March 6, 1930, in Okauchee, she was joyfully reunited in heaven with her husband, Joseph Daley; her parents, Frank and Anna Kysely; and all her siblings, Jerome, Francis, Catherine, Margaret, Mary, Tony, Justin, Bob, and Winn.
Joan is forever sorely missed by her daughters, Anne (Vince Mulhollon) and Mary, and her much-loved grandchildren, Ryan and Molly. For twenty-three years she embraced her role as grandmother with her whole heart. She attended every special event in their lives for as long as she was able, took great pride in all they accomplished, and found her greatest happiness in their company. Her unconditional love filled every moment they shared with pure joy.
She worked as a postal clerk at the Okauchee Post Office and later became a talented cake decorator at Dotties Bakery in Stone Bank. A longtime member of St. Clare’s in North Lake, she later joined St. Charles after moving to Hartland. She was also a dedicated volunteer with Lake Country Caring for many years. Joan is further survived by one sister-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the many caregivers who loved and cared for Joan as their own, to Allay Hospice, and especially to Marcy Loessin, her first caregiver, with whom she shared a deep and cherished bond. Memorials in Joan’s honor may be made to Zachariah Acres, an organization that provides events for special needs families and held a special place in her heart through the times she spent there with Ryan and Molly.
