Joan Procopio

Owatonna - Joan Procopio, age 80, of Owatonna, MN, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, in Mankato, MN.Joan was born to parents Alex and Mary (Czito) Zsebe on August 27, 1945, in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Cudahy High School in 1963.On May 21,1965, she married Alfred Procopio Jr. at U.S. Naval Chapel in Brooklyn, NY. They celebrated 56 years of marriage. Joan was a devout Christian. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Joan loved playing "Canasta", writing letters by hand, playing bingo, eating out, and watching her favorite TV shows. She was generous, kind soul. Joan is survived by one son Joe (Jess) Procopio of Owatonna, son-in-law Rob Bryant of St. Cloud, MN; and four grandchildren: Jamison Bryant, Patty Jo Procopio, Rosie Procopio, and Samantha Bryant.Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Procopio, Jr., her daughter Gina Bryant, and her sister Mary Ann Gagliano. Friends may greet the family Thursday, March 19, 2026, at St. John Church (1301 Lincoln Ave S, Owatonna) beginning at 9:30 AM. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM.A private burial will take place on March 24, 2026, at Ft.
