Joan Gardner

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Gardner of Lincoln, Missouri, who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, F. O. Ryan and Carrie Ryan; her husband Russell Gardner; her son Ryan Gardner (Phyllis); her grandson Adam Holmgren; and her sister Mary Lynn Brock.

She is survived by: her children, Russell "Rusty" Gardner, Kelly Lasswell (Scot), Pam Grace (Tim) and Nancy Gardner; her grandchildren, Christina VanBuskirk (Jeremy), Leroy Holmgren, Zachary Grace (Lindsay), Kyer Lasswell (Johnna), Tyler Grace (Shelby) and Camryn "Cammie" Lasswell; her great grandchildren, Haydee (Keelan), Drew (Mallory), Kelsey (Gabe), Parker, Charlotte, Mark and Reagen; and her great great grandchildren, Kenlyee, Emery, Winry and Rolan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hill & Son Funeral Home (213 W 6th St, Appleton City, MO 64724). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at the Lowry City Cemetery.
