Joan Francis Krafft

Joan Francis Krafft, age 77 of Adams, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born on August 6, 1948, in Stewart County, Tennessee.

Joan earned a bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing and found deep fulfillment in her career until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wallace and Margaret Wallace, her brother Danny Wallace, and her cousin Carolyn Hester.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Groomes; her sisters, Judy Fristoe and Phyllis Frederick; her grandchildren, Autumn Harrison and Jakob Harrison; her great-grandchild, Alexandria; and her cousins, Ruth Ray, Terry Ray, Bridget Dupis, Terry Hester, and Monty Hester.

Per Joan’s wishes, no formal services will be held. She wanted everyone to know she is in the arms of Jesus and hoped all would make arrangements to see her there.
