Joan Frances Ryan

Joan Frances Ryan, 78, of North Augusta, South Carolina, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on July 20, 1947, in Willmar, Minnesota, to George and Vera Zumwinkle, Joan grew up with a deep appreciation for the arts that remained with her throughout her life. She found great joy in painting and worked for many years as a secretary. She also cherished her cats and held a lifelong love for the music of the Beatles.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 32 years, Edward Ryan, and her brother, John Zumwinkle. She is survived by her son, Michael Kalogeropoulos and his wife, Jessica, and her granddaughter, Michaela.
