Joan Florence Drasher, 89, of Weatherly, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community.
Born in Darby, Pennsylvania on July 25, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence Blankley. Joan took great pride in her service as acting president of the Weatherly American Legion Auxiliary Unit #360 and as longtime treasurer of the Weatherly Flower Club. She found deep joy in gardening, watching birds from her back deck, and embracing the outdoors through hunting, boating, and camping. Above all, she will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her legendary candor, and the devoted love she gave as “Nanny” to her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl B. Drasher, and her daughters, Lorraine Mae and Patty Jean. Joan is survived by her loving daughter, Joanie Slowik, and her husband David of Drums; grandchildren Holly Slowik and her husband Jason of Denver, Colorado, Ariel Slowik of Drums, Casey Mills and her husband Derrick of Egg Harbour Township, New Jersey, Jimmy Epright and his wife Amy of Mount Ephraim, New Jersey, and Carolyn Regimand of Austin, Texas; great-grandchildren Lincoln and Emmy Mills, Chloe and Rory Epright; and her beloved cats Newton, Bane, Waffles, and Pancakes.
