Joan Dittrich

Joan Dittrich, née Czernitsky, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on March 7, 2026. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William M. Dittrich Sr. Born on June 22, 1935, in Cleveland to the late Mary (née Tokacz) and Joseph Czernitsky, Joan lived a life marked by quiet strength, warmth, and deep devotion to those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Bronikowski (Mike), son Bill Dittrich (Kathy), grandchildren Lauren Dittrich (Nicole), Kelly Kerr (Jason), Danielle Coyne (Cameron), Julia Glover, Joe Glover, and William Dittrich III, as well as great-grandchildren Hailey and Rylee. Joan found simple pleasures in planting flowers each spring and tending to them throughout the summer. A devoted fan of slot gambling, she was a constant, joyful presence at family gatherings, where her laughter and kindness touched everyone around her.

Joan dedicated more than 25 years to Sears as Assistant Personnel Manager before continuing her career at Herold Family Automotive. In retirement, she lovingly cared for her youngest grandson, William. She will be remembered for her caring nature, generosity, and the many deep friendships she cultivated over the years. Her memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew her.
