Joan Simpson ObituaryPublished by Legacy on Mar. 10, 2026.Joan Allison Simpson, 70, of Warsaw, Va., entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2026.Born December 31, 1955, in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Majorie Allison. Joan was a devoted and faithful wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was guided by her steadfast Christian faith and love for others.She will be remembered for her deep devotion to God, her generosity of spirit, her love of family, and her compassionate heart. Joan found great joy in her family and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Cecil Simpson; her children, Jeremy Simpson, Benjamin (Jackie) Simpson, and SaraAnn (Evan) Bailey; her grandchildren, Zoey, Scarlett, Alice, Christine, and Benji; and her sister, Ruth Bane. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Allison.A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
