Joan A. Wisnie

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan A. Wisnie of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 84, on March 6, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald J. Wisnie; her parents, Robert Burns and Angelina "Angie" Burns (Bochicchio); and her daughter Rebecca Wisnie. She is survived by: her pets, Michele, Becky, Shalene, James, Brian, Cindy and Florence; her great grandchild Ronni; her daughter Michele O'Loughlin (Brian) of Waterbury; her grandchildren, James O'Loughlin of Waterbury, CT and Shalene Venetis (Arthur) of Trumbull, CT; her great grandchildren, Penelope and Veronica Venetis; and her sister Florence Concepcion of West Warwick, RI.. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins and she is leaving behind nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Leo the Great Church (14 Bentwood Dr, Waterbury, CT 06705).
