Jo Wicker ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Fry & Prickett Funeral Home - Carthage on Mar. 15, 2026.Jo Ann Wicker, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Pinelake, with her loving son by her side.She was born August 2, 1945, in Mobile, Alabama, to the late Lewis Franklin and Elsie Edgiel.Jo Ann loved music – especially Elvis Presley. She treasured spending time with her beloved companion, Penny the dog, and often enjoyed window shopping and browsing stores just for the fun of it. She had a strong work ethic, serving nursing homes as a dietary aide. Above all, she cherished her family, sharing a particularly strong bond with her dad.She is survived by her sons, Bobby (Amy) Wicker of Michigan, and Charles Wicker of Carthage; and her three grandchildren.Jo Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Culdee Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m. Family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
