She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel Sherman and Dell McLain Johnson; and her husband John Lawson Ransburgh Jr.. She is survived by: her children, John Ransburgh (Lisa), Rhonda Gierow (Paul), Deidra Ransburgh and Amanda Lowe (Larry); and her grandchildren, Armin Gierow, Anna Gierow, Gianna Grace Hudson, Claire Lowe, Lawson Ransburgh, Daisy Hudson, Nathaniel Hudson, Zane Ransburgh, Joshua Lowe and Claudia Lowe.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (607 Airport Rd SE, Huntsville, AL 35802). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be sent to Trinity UMC Building Fund or Clearview Cancer Institute Russel Hill Cancer Foundation.
