Jimmy Perry of Banner Elk, North Carolina, passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvell Lester and Ethel Core Greer Perry, and his daughter, Kim Ann Perry.
He is survived by his daughters, Anita Dollars (Larry Wayne) of Mountain City, Tennessee, and April Vance (Robert) of Zionville; his grandchildren, Ashley Dollars (Shawn) of Mountain City, Tennessee, Emmy Lou Dollars of Mountain City, Tennessee, Katie Carlson (Patrick) of Fleetwood, and Caleb Vance of Zionville; his great-grandchildren, Logan Carlson and Cayden Carlson; his brother, Lester Arnt Perry (Malinda) of Hudson; and his nieces, Leslie Hawkins (Tracy) of Morganton and Miranda Denning (Robert) of Granite Falls.
Jimmy’s family will remember him for the quiet strength and steady presence he brought to their lives. His love for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren remained at the center of his world, and the bonds he shared with them will continue to be cherished.
