Jimmy Lee Wilson

Jimmy Lee Wilson, 67, of Faison, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his brother’s home in Newton Grove, North Carolina.

Born on April 20, 1958, in Sampson County, Jimmy was the son of the late Arthur Wilson and Mary Faison Wilson. He graduated from Union High School in Rose Hill and spent much of his life working on local farms, a vocation he approached with quiet pride and dedication. Those who knew him remember his kind spirit and easygoing nature. He cherished time spent with family and friends and found simple pleasure in watching Westerns on television.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Arthur James Wilson. He is survived by his siblings: Jesse Wilson of Columbus, Georgia; Major Wilson and his wife Vickie of Newton Grove, North Carolina; George Wilson of Killeen, Texas; Jacqueline Faison of Mount Olive, North Carolina; Barbara Faison Simmons of Clinton, North Carolina; and Reginald Faison of Clinton, North Carolina. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will forever hold his memory dear.
