JILL DARLENE (SEEGERT) LARSON Jill Darlene (Seegert) Larson was born July 13, 1950 in Virginia, MN to Norman Seegert Sr. and Violet (Town) Seegert. She grew up on the shores of Rainy Lake and spent countless hours fishing, water skiing, turtle hunting, trapping and harvesting wild rice. Her grandparents owned a farm in Ray, MN, where she helped with chores and honed her culinary and sewing skills under the guidance of her grandmother and aunts. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and graduated Falls High School in 1968. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Hibbing Technical College in 1970 and moved to the Twin Cities where she worked in dentistry and waitressed. Jill met the love of her life Randall Larson, they were married September 30, 1978 and raised their 3 children in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Jill embraced her role as a full time homemaker and kept busy by providing home day care, house cleaning, teaching Sunday school and youth bible study at South Shore Trinity Lutheran Church. Jill was an excellent cook who loved to craft, play cards, board games, watch movies, write poetry and enjoyed spending time with her family. Above all, she adored being a wife, mother and grandmother. Jill treasured the moments she spent with her granddaughters - especially when they played with dolls, made art projects and watching their dance performances. Jill was a generous, caring and loving person who possessed a kind spirt and always made you feel special. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and will always be remembered as a devoted mother, a guiding light, and a source of unconditional love. Jill leaves behind her children Zachary (Jennifer), Rachael (Brian), Nicholas and grandchildren Joshua, Fionna and Autumn, brothers Norm Seegert (Judy), Dan Seegert, Mark (Diane) Seegert and many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Randall Larson, parents Norman Seegert Sr. & Violet Seegert, brother David Seegert, mother-in-law Pearl Larson and father-in-law Duane Larson. Memorial services are Saturday March 14th at South Shore Trinity Lutheran Church in White Bear Lake. Visitation 10am 11am and service immediately afterwards at 11:00am.
