Jill Anne Kelly

Jill Anne Kelly (Nance), 63, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away at home on the morning of March 4, 2026.

Born on August 9, 1962, in Quantico, Virginia, to McKendred and Reka Nance, Jill was the oldest of three children. She graduated from Phoenixville Area High School in 1980, where she played on the softball team. She spent most of her professional life in the insurance industry.

In 1985, Jill married the love of her life, James W. Kelly Jr. Their 40-year marriage was blessed with three daughters, Kourtney, Kerri, and Kathryn. Deeply committed to her community, Jill served for many years as team captain or Grand Marshall for Relay for Life and Bark for Life events, raising funds for the American Cancer Society. She found great joy in crafting, gardening, swimming, and most of all, in spending time with family and friends, where she was known for generously spoiling her children and grandchildren.

Jill is survived by her husband, Jim Kelly; her daughters, Kourtney (Eric Griggs), Kerri (George Abbott), and Katie (Mark Shaver); her four grandchildren, Aspen, Finley, Emily, and Kya; her brother, Jeff Nance; her sister, Tracy Arlett (Nance); her parents, McKendred and Reka Nance; her best friend, Jackie Carver; and many other close family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Helen Lavinder, and Irene Davis Nance.
