Jesus "Chuyito" Porras Molinar, a cherished family man known for his loving nature, quick wit, and intelligence, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, in Odessa, Texas, following a heart attack. Born on Christmas Day, 1961, in Buenos Aires, he brought joy and celebration into the lives of those around him from the beginning. His life centered on the deep value he placed on family, hard work, and the simple pleasures that brought him contentment.

Chuyito dedicated his career to the ECISD Transportation department, retiring after many years of faithful service. He took pride in ensuring the safety of countless students while building lasting friendships and contributing meaningfully to his community. An outdoor enthusiast at heart, he found great peace on his farm, tending to his animals and enjoying the beauty of nature. Yet nothing compared to the love he held for his family; his presence at gatherings was always marked by warmth, laughter, and the stories and jokes that lit up every room.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Paula Molinar; his children, Amy Molinar Galindo and her husband Jaime, Cosme Molinar, Jessica Turner and her husband Jayson, and Karime Molinar; his grandchildren, Avery, Alexiz Molinar Contreras and her husband Diego, Nathan, Josiah, Saul Benavides, Preston Turner, Adalyn Luna, and Calliope Crabtree; and his great-grandchildren, Kaleb Molinar, Noah, Nakoda Contreras, and Eliana Molinar. He also leaves behind his brothers Carlos and Dario Molinar, and his sisters Dora Almance, Estella Martinez, and Sylvia Suchil, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Amada Molinar, and his brother Cosme Molinar.

Chuyito’s life was a beautiful mosaic of moments shared with those he loved. He offered wisdom, warmth, and laughter freely, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His absence will be deeply felt, yet the memories he created will continue to comfort and inspire his family and friends.
