Jesus Javier Lopez
March 28, 1970— March 9, 2026
Woodhaven, NY
Jesus Javier Lopez, affectionately known as “Javi,” passed away on March 10, 2026. A devoted husband, father, son, and brother, he was remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and selfless love that touched everyone around him.
For many years, Javi worked at the Museum of American History, where he formed deep and lasting friendships with his coworkers, who valued his reliability and warm presence. At home, he was the family’s beloved “Mr. Fix-it,” taking genuine joy in repairing and improving things for those he cared about. He lived by a simple principle: always put others first.
Above all, Javi cherished his family. A sweet, thoughtful, and profoundly loving man, he found his greatest happiness in the everyday moments spent with his daughters, Daniella and Eileen. His gentle spirit anchored his household with warmth and generosity that will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Julia; his daughters, Daniella and Eileen; his mother, Felisa; and his brothers and their spouses, Rogelio and Steven, and Milagro and Maria. To his family, he was the world.
