Jesus A. Baez

Jesus Anthony Baez, age 42, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026 at Kent County Hospital. Born in the Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Maria Luiza Ortiz. He was the beloved fiancée and best friend of Tabitha L. Coutu.

Jesus found deep contentment in life’s quieter pleasures. He loved sitting by the water, listening to his favorite music, and enjoying a drink. He took genuine delight in drawing and coloring, filling the room with music, and taking long drives, often just to pick up a Slurpee. He cherished trips to New Hampshire with Tabitha, sharing meals together, and cooking his special red beans and rice for her.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially Tabitha, whose life he shared so fully as both partner and closest friend.
