Jessie Ray Anderson

Jessie Ray Anderson, age 84, of Pioneer, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center. Born on February 10, 1942, in Clairfield, Tennessee, Jessie lived a long life rooted in the hills he called home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (King) Anderson; his father, Hurstle Anderson; his mother, Carrie Marie (Hatfield) Anderson; his brothers, Jake Anderson and Hobart Anderson; and his sister, Linda Joyce Evans.

Jessie is survived by his daughters, Kathy Anderson, Vickie Stephens and her husband George, and Stacy Ponsetto; his grandchildren, Anthony Anderson, Austin Ponsetto, Amber Scott, and Alivia Vukelich; his special great-grandson, Carter McNamara; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will carry his memory forward.
