Jessie "Jackie" Miller

Jessie "Jackie" Miller, age 92 of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on March 14, 2026, at Westmoreland Care and Rehab in Westmoreland. Born on March 13, 1934, in Simpson County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Muncie and Miney Maud Glover.

Jackie was saved by God's grace in her late teens and became a longtime member of Piper's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained faithful from the mid-1950s until her death. She worked in a variety of occupations throughout her life, including substitute teaching in her later years, but cherished most the time she spent working alongside her many friends at Kentucky Electronics.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Miller; granddaughter, Amanda Faye Graves-Stafford; son-in-law, Glenn Graves; brother, Robert Glover; and sisters, Martha Graves, Mauddeen Graves, and Kathleen Hankins.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda G. Graves and Sharon (Speedy) Cope; grandchildren, Marvin L. (Stacey) Graves, Michael L. Cope, and Brooke D. (Chaz) Newton; and great-grandchildren, Hunter D. (Hannah) Penick, Miller A. Penick, and one on the way.
