Frandano, Jessie was preceded in death by her previous husband, Fred Williams, her parents and her stepson.Jessie grew up at the Poydras Home for Girls in New Orleans, an experience that helped shape her strength, independence, and compassionate spirit. She went on to enjoy a career as a flight attendant with Southern Airways, where she embraced her love of travel and adventure. After Fred's passing, Jessie reconnected with the love of her life, Al, whom she originally met in New Orleans in 1960. Jessie and Al were married in 2010 and spent 16 blissful years together as partners in travel, adventure and love.Jessie was an avid bowler, served as president of the Slidell Women's Bowling Association and was a Hall of Fame Member of the Northshore Bowling Association. In addition to bowling, Jessie found joy in reading, gardening and traveling.More than anything, family and friends would like Jessie to be remembered for her generous heart, kindness and compassion toward everyone, even strangers. Jessie's altruistic nature knew no bounds as she was a passionate advocate for animal rights as well. Throughout her life, Jessie rescued eighteen dogs and gave them all safe and loving homes. Her warmth, compassion, and giving heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.She is survived by her devoted husband, Al; five stepchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews; four brothers; and two sisters.A graveside service will be held on March 11, 2026, at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery located at 34888 Grantham College Dr. Slidell, LA 70460.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pearl River County SPCA (1700 Palestine Road Picayune, MS 39466 https://www.prcspca.org), honoring Jessie's lifelong love and advocacy for animals.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
